Private desktop health export utility

Export your own Fitbit and Google Health measurements for local analysis.

Codex Fitbit Health Desktop is a personal-use desktop helper that reads the signed-in user's own Google Health health metrics, including Fitbit-synced weight and body-fat measurements, after explicit Google OAuth consent.

How it works

OAuth access is narrow and user-controlled.

01

Authorize with Google

The user signs in with Google and grants the Google Health read-only health metrics scope.

02

Read measurements

The desktop helper fetches weight and body-fat records synced from Fitbit-compatible devices.

03

Store locally

OAuth tokens and exported measurement files are kept on the user's computer, not on this website.

04

Delete anytime

The user can delete local files and revoke Google access from their Google Account permissions page.

Requested Google scope

Read-only health metrics and measurements

The app requests only the scope required to read Google Health metrics and measurements:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/googlehealth.health_metrics_and_measurements.readonly
